To keep your piece as blingy as possible, for as long as possible, it should be the first thing you take off when going in water, and the last thing you put on when getting dressed (so the stones/chain do not tug on any garments).

Box/Button Clasp:
(These have 2 clips on the side & a button in the middle)
1. Unlock both safety clips by gently pulling them away from the clasp.
2. With your dominant hand, squeeze the button in the middle of the clasp (using your thumb & index finger is most comfortable).
3. While still squeezing, push the clasp toward your other hand. Be sure to keep both hands close to the clasp to avoid damaging the chain.
This clasp may feel stiff at first, but it will open more smoothly over time. If you feel the clasp is not clicking in as securely as you like, please contact us & we will show you how to easily tighten it again.
Foldover Clasp:
(Looks like a rectangle with "BLINGZ" on it).
Please have a look at the rectangle part of the clasp. On the right hand side of it, closed to the "Z" you can open it by pulling it up & to the left.
From there it is straightforward. Just click it into the other side of the chain.
